OWNER KNOWLEDGE
Your stories, on the site
Turn owner knowledge into website content
Owners already have the stories, examples, and lessons customers need. Those details often never make it onto the website. This work draws them out, checks them, and turns them into useful pages.
What this can include
- A conversation that starts with how you get customers, which services you want to grow, and what people ask before they call
- Questions plus an AI-organized draft for you to review — not a published page
- Your corrections: facts, stories, examples, and lessons from real work
- Confirmation of quotes, claims, examples, and permission before anything sensitive is published
- Pages built from that reviewed knowledge, then updated when the business or the season changes
- A log of what was added or changed and why it mattered
Start with questions, then a draft you can correct
Mark likes the saying “two ears and one mouth.” Before recommending pages, he listens: which services you want to grow, who you are trying to reach, and what has been frustrating. An owner may have built the business through word of mouth. Reaching people who do not already know you takes clear information on the site.
AI can help suggest questions and organize a general draft. It does not know your personal experiences, and it does not know every answer correctly. The best part: you review the draft, correct it, and add what only you know — a story, a problem that surprised a customer, or a small local detail a visitor would not think to ask.
Confirm facts, quotes, and permission
Publishing without the owner’s knowledge is one of the mistakes this work is meant to avoid. Quotes, claims, examples, and reviews or testimonials go on the site only with permission. Private customer details stay protected.
A general description misses how the owner works, what customers commonly misunderstand, and what they learned when a job was difficult. The owner confirms those details before they are published.
Personal experience can make an answer more useful. Current hours, road conditions, or rules still need to be checked against what is true now — and, when they change, pointed to official sources rather than an old paragraph.
Then it becomes a page — and it gets updated
The interview guides the website. More pages are useful only when each page has something worthwhile: what you offer, what a customer needs to know, and the next step. A general AI answer is the starting point, not the published page.
A finished website is not finished marketing. When menus, services, hours, or seasons change, the same knowledge process applies: update the facts, keep the owner’s voice, and log what changed. Changing a page is not a promise of more search traffic. The change needs a purpose, then a review of useful visits, calls, and inquiries where those can be tracked.
Share your knowledge by phone
When we need your input for a new page, or for a page we are improving, we email a short set of questions and a number to call. Call whenever it suits you. No writing needed. Just call and talk the way you would to a customer.
We turn your answers into page content in your own words. Nothing is published until Mark reviews and approves it. Answering the same questions by email still works.

Questions
Will AI write my website for me?
No. AI can organize a draft. You supply and confirm the firsthand details. A general AI answer is not published as the business’s story.
What do you need from me?
Time to talk, then time to review. Which services you want to grow, who you serve, what customers ask, and examples you are willing to put on the record. Quotes and testimonials need your permission.
Is there a separate “how we work” or AI-search page?
AI search optimization — AEO and GEO — is its own service. Owner knowledge is the interview: what you know, checked, then turned into pages. The about page explains the approach.
