Business Bots for Mountain Contractors

The phone can ring while you are on a job. Mark sets up a bot that can answer, text back, or take a message, then hand it to a person.

Driftwood rests on the shore of a mountain lake.

These bots are an add-on to any plan for a mountain contractor. Prices are not set. He will not advertise 24/7 service, or a response time, unless you confirm it.

What it does

  • Answers a call or sends a missed call text back while you are on a job
  • Collects a name and a number from the website when you cannot pick up
  • Helps set a time you have said you can offer, and sends a reminder
  • Reminds a customer about an invoice you already have, and helps track receipts
  • Hands off to a real person

How it works

  1. You tell Mark what happens when the phone rings and you are on a job, and which jobs you actually take.
  2. He asks whether you answer after hours, whether you take emergency calls, and whether weather can delay a job.
  3. The bot says it is a bot. It answers, texts back, or takes a message from what you confirmed.
  4. If someone needs a time, it uses times you have said you can offer, or it hands the request to a person.
  5. Mark approves anything that goes out in your name. There are no outgoing AI calls without consent.

What the owner gets

  • A missed call answered or captured while you are on the job
  • A name and a way to call back
  • A reminder for a time you already agreed to offer, and a reminder for an invoice you already have
  • An add-on to any plan. Prices are not set.

Where this fits

Here's the deal. We work with businesses in Big Bear Lake, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, and Crestline, in the San Bernardino Mountains.

This is for plumbers, electricians, heating and cooling companies, roofers, and other contractors who work on mountain homes. Getting the call is only half of it. The other half is whether a missed call gets returned and whether it reaches the right person.

While you are on the job

A roofer can be on a roof, and another contractor can be on a job, when the phone rings. The AI receptionist can answer, send a missed call text back, take a message, and book or route if you have said how scheduling should work.

The website chatbot can collect a name and a number while you are out. It answers from the services you confirmed. If it does not know, it says so.

Business texting can take days to weeks to register with the carriers before a text back goes out. Mark will say so before that is turned on.

A time, an invoice, and the receipts

Scheduling and appointment reminders help set a time you have said you can offer, then send a reminder. Phone booking stays with the AI receptionist. He only puts into the bot what you can really promise. Weather can delay a job. He will not advertise 24/7 service or a response time unless you confirm it.

Someone calling from down the hill needs to know who will answer and what happens next. The bot can take that message. It does not share private details about getting into a house.

After a job, an invoice reminder can go out for an invoice you already have. The bot does not set the amount. Receipt tracking can help log receipts from the job. It does not replace an accountant or give tax advice. A weekly note can tell you what the bots did.

The same honesty rules

The bot says it is a bot. It asks before it records, because California requires everyone on the call to agree. It does not place outgoing AI calls without consent. It hands off to a real person. Results are not guaranteed. This page is not legal advice.

More calls do not help if they are for jobs you do not do. Rankings, calls, bookings, leads, sales, and revenue are not guaranteed.

Prices are not set. It is an add-on to any plan. Call (909) 443-2260.

The phone, including a missed call text back, is the AI receptionist.

A time and a reminder are scheduling and appointment reminders.

An invoice you already sent is billing and invoice reminders.

The website for the trade, including service pages and how to call, is websites for mountain trades and home services.
